Monthly Social
We have a social a month, usually on a Saturday. Mark your calendars, the upcoming social is on Saturday, March 3th, 2012, at the YWCA in Cambridge (nearest T stop: Red line, Central Sq).
7:30-8:30pm Lesson. Please show up on time – the number of separate lessons we’ll have and their level will be set according to the people who arrive at 7:30pm.
8:30-10:30pm Social dancing
After-party at Havana Club (for those for whom three hours of dancing is not enough).
The price of the social is $6 per person.
As we are unable to collect money at the door, the only way to pay for the social is online, on this page, via PayPal. No exceptions. Registration closes the day of the social at 12pm. Please print your receipt and bring it with you to the social. Please note that in previous socials some people believed they paid but it didn’t go through – make sure you got a confirmation email.
Make sure you received a confirmation email from PayPal. If you have not – that means the payment process was not completed. Remember – we are unable to accept payments at the door.
Dress code Boston Rueda T-shirts are the top preference!!! If not, you can wear bridesmaids’ dresses and black tie suits (or not. A good hint is what the people on the pictures in this page are wearing).
Who is invited Anyone and everyone, with or without experience. You can forward this to your friends, including (but not limited to) those who were always interested in salsa but not enough to make a commitment.
Refund policy If you paid for the social and have not attended it for any reason whatsoever, contact us within a week from the social to receive either refund via PayPal or credit for a future social, no questions asked.
We need your help Please help us promote this event, use the social media buttons below to like us on facebook, tweet us or plus us. We are looking for a volunteer to coordinate promoting our activities on social media, if you’re interested in helping out, please contact us. Additionally, we are looking for volunteers to check people in at the door. A 45-minute shift at the door buys you free admission to the social.
